About Narivo
- What is Narivo?
Narivo is an AI receptionist: an agent that answers your business phone and does the work the call is about. It books the appointment in your own system, tells the caller whether the car, the results or the order are ready, confirms by SMS, reminds the day before and calls back to fill a cancelled slot. What it can’t settle, it hands to a person with a summary.
- Is it a phone menu or an answering service?
No. It is not a menu, a script or a chatbot, and it does more than take a message. The agent understands what the caller wants, decides what to do, does it, and knows when to hand over. It works inside your system, follows up by SMS, WhatsApp and e-mail, and calls out when something needs a call. Every call ends as a record in your system.
- Is Narivo an AI answering service or a virtual receptionist?
Both. People call it an AI answering service, a virtual receptionist, an AI phone assistant or AI call answering. Narivo answers your business phone like a receptionist and then does the work the call is about: it books the appointment in your system, confirms by SMS and hands over to a person when needed.
- Who is Narivo for?
Small and mid-sized businesses whose phone rings while their hands are busy, and larger organisations with a reservation centre or a claims line to relieve. There is a product for each kind of business: clinics, salons, fitness and sports, auto, hotels and rentals, restaurants, shops, offices, schools and courses, trades, and insurance. Details on the products page.
- Who is behind Narivo?
Narivo is a product of Atlant Labs, a software company founded in 2020 that builds apps, platforms, cloud infrastructure and AI systems for some of the world’s largest and best-known brands across the UK and the EU. Contracts, invoices and the privacy policy are with Atlant Labs. More at atlantlabs.com.
Getting started
- Do I need a new phone number?
No. You can keep your existing number and forward it to Narivo or port it over, free of charge. If you’d rather, Narivo gives you a new number.
- Can I try Narivo before I decide?
Yes. Every offer comes with a demo set up for your business: the agent answering as it would for you. You call it and test it yourself before you accept anything. Once you are a customer, you can also start gently: forward your existing number to Narivo only after hours or only when nobody picks up, see how the agent handles your calls, and migrate the number fully when you’re confident. Your callers keep dialling the same number.
- How long does it take to set up?
From a few days to several weeks, depending on what you need. A simple setup, where the agent answers on your number, knows your hours, prices and services, takes bookings and requests, and transfers to a person, is live in a few days. Complex integrations, where the agent reads and writes your clinic, workshop, reservation or core system live, take several weeks.
- How does the agent learn about my business?
From your own data: hours, location, parking, prices, services, payments, cancellations, menu or catalogue, how to prepare. You give it through a form, an uploaded price list or your website. No technical knowledge needed. Integrations with your calendar or business system are set up by Narivo during onboarding. When something changes, upload the new price list or update the form and it’s in use the minute it’s uploaded, at every location at once.
On the call
- When does the agent answer?
24/7, Sundays and public holidays included. You choose when it steps in: always, after hours only, or only when nobody on your team has picked up within a few rings. Your staff get first go, the agent takes the calls no one is free for.
- What if many people call at once?
It answers them all. A hundred callers at once, each with the same voice, the same quality and full attention. Nobody waits on hold.
- What can the agent do on a call?
Depending on your plan: answer questions from your own data (hours, prices, services, allergens, how to prepare), look things up live in your system (free slots, stock, “is my car ready”, case status), book, move and cancel appointments, classes, courts and visits, build and change orders, take structured requests under your rules, send a link to the caller’s phone mid-call, take payments by card or payment link, and transfer to a person when needed. Which plan includes what is on the pricing page.
- What if the caller asks something the agent can’t answer?
It doesn’t improvise. No made-up answers. It takes the caller’s details and what it’s about, promises a call back, and sends you the summary. Callbacks come sorted, new or existing customer, urgent or routine, so you call the right ones first. Questions it couldn’t answer come back to you as suggested answers to approve, so the next caller gets one.
- Can it transfer the call to a person?
Yes. Complaints, emergencies, negotiations, angry callers: it recognises the situation and transfers to the right person or department, urgent calls at once. It announces the caller and passes a short summary, so nobody has to say “tell me everything again from the beginning.” If nobody picks up the transfer, it takes a message and sends you the summary. Transfer rules by topic, time of day and person depend on the plan.
- Does the caller know they’re talking to an AI?
Yes. The agent says it is an AI assistant when it picks up, and gives the recording notice.
- What does it sound like? Can I choose the voice?
Its own name, voice and greeting, chosen by you: warmer or more formal, quicker or more patient.
- Does it get names and addresses right?
Name, street and house number are spelled out letter by letter, read back, and confirmed by SMS before the caller hangs up. ID, policy and registration numbers are validated. The agent knows local names, streets and places, and asks again if an address sounds off.
- Does it handle spam and sales calls?
Yes. Spam, robocalls and sales calls are screened out, and an abusive number is blocked automatically. A VIP goes straight to a person. Anything you can decide from the number alone, you can set as a rule.
- Does it recognise returning customers?
Yes. The caller’s number brings up their last order, appointment or case, so the agent can ask “same as last time?”
- Will it read out results or someone’s booking to anyone who calls?
No. Before reading out results, a case status or a booking, it verifies the caller the way your rules say: date of birth, ID number, case or policy number. If the check fails, it gives only general information and hands over to a person.
Languages
- What languages does the agent speak?
More than 50. You don’t set the language in advance: the agent picks up the caller’s language from the country code or the first sentence and switches on the spot. A foreign guest, a tourist and a local each get the agent in their own language, with no “please hold while I find a colleague who speaks it.” See the full list.
Follow-up
- Does it follow up with customers after the call?
Yes, depending on your plan. Booking confirmation by SMS, WhatsApp or e-mail. A reminder the day before, and a reply to it moves or cancels the appointment. “Your order is ready.” A waiting-list offer when a slot frees up. It can also call out: reminder calls, “your car is ready”, filling a cancelled slot from the waiting list by phone, showing your name and number so people pick up.
- Does it answer WhatsApp messages, e-mails and chat too?
On Pro and Enterprise, yes. The same agent answers WhatsApp messages, SMS and e-mails, and chats on your website, the way it answers calls: it answers questions, books and hands over to a person in writing too. Every plan sends confirmations and reminders by message: Start by SMS or e-mail, Plus and up by WhatsApp as well.
Integrations and growth
- What does Narivo connect to?
Depending on your plan: calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets and automation tools out of the box; live read and write into clinic, workshop, reservation and inventory systems; and custom two-way integrations into whatever you run, small or large. A system that isn’t supported yet can be integrated for you and is quoted separately.
- I have several locations, numbers or brands. Does that work?
Yes. Several numbers, locations, brands and countries under one account, with roles for who sees and changes what. Several agents can share one number (reception, service, sales), each with its own knowledge and transfer targets, routed by what the caller asks.
Pricing
- How much does it cost?
Narivo comes in several plans, from a single agent that answers and writes everything down to custom setups for reservation centres and chains. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of call minutes and messages, with everything else in the plan included. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page.
- Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. Regular plans have no minimum term and can be cancelled at any time. There is no separate contract: you accept an offer, and the data-processing agreement comes with it. Enterprise is agreed with each organisation.
- Are there extra costs?
There is no onboarding fee on regular plans, and forwarding or porting your number is free. Extra phone numbers, extra locations, mobile apps and similar add-ons can be purchased on any plan, priced for your business and use case. Integrations with systems not yet supported are quoted separately. Enterprise is priced per case.
Data, privacy and compliance
- Is Narivo GDPR compliant?
Yes. Narivo is GDPR compliant and all plans are hosted in the EU. Every call is recorded and transcribed with a notice to the caller, the agent says it is an AI assistant when it picks up, and card numbers never land in the transcript. Larger organisations can get a tailored data-processing agreement, single sign-on and an audit log, with EU hosting written into the contract.
- Are calls recorded?
Yes. Every call is recorded, transcribed and summarised, with a notice to the caller. Recordings and transcripts are in the web app for your team.
- Does it follow the rules of my industry and country?
It works within the local rules and laws of your market: data protection, recording notices, consumer and sector rules. It verifies the caller before reading out results, a case status or a booking, and gives the recording notice on every call.
